Born here in Yuelamu (Mt Allan) in the 60’s then we moved to Yuendumu and lived there. School at Yuendumu. Went to Yirara for high school. Then back to Yuendumu and started working at the literacy centre at the school. I started painting in 1990’s at Warlukurlangu (art Centre) right up until 2000. I like doing paintings, it’s really good. I have 5 children, 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. I moved to Yuelamu in 2004 and was doing private paintings. I moved back here because Yuelamu is a good place to live. I came back to the country.
Glorine’s paints Goanna, eagle, women with coolamon and digging sticks and bush onion Anengkerr (dreaming). Wakurlba north of Yuendumu is the place for eagle Anengkerr (dreaming)
This is Loretta and her stunning art. She is an awesome bushwoman. Loretta has been working on the committee to setup Inkwareny Artists. She is an outstanding artist and we love her sense of humour. More of her paintings can be found at Inkwareny artists.com.
