Where we are going:

For a long time, we have wanted our own art centre in our own community

  • so that we can control our stories, make them strong;
  • so that we can control our art and artifacts in our place and
  • so that we manage our money.

We have started this now. We are building the foundations.  We are focused and inspired.

We are a cultural and social enterprise.

Our Leaders:

Inkwareny Artists is conceived by us, seed funded by us, led and operated by us with 100% of monies going back to our artists and our social enterprise.

We are:

  • Dulcie Ngal Frank – Chair
  • Cliffy Penangk Tommey – Deputy Chair
  • Melissa Pengart Morton – Treasurer
  • Lilly Penangk Stafford
  • Loretta Penangk Morton
  • Shonelle Pwerrerl Stafford
  • Lisa Mpetyan / Mbijana Cook
