Anyematy Anengkerr (Witchetty Grub Dreaming)

Anyematy (Witchetty grub) are found in the roots of the witchetty bushes.  “We go and look for Anyematy bushes. Poking around about with a digging stick.  When we find a good spot we dig up the root and then go around to the next one and dig that up and keep going right around the tree, filling up the billycan with witchetty grubs.  We eat them raw and also cook them.  They taste like egg”.
