Lilly portrait

Lilly was born in Coniston in approximately 1950. Her mother was Topsy Nampijinpa Stockman, born in Ngalikirlangu, on Anmatyerr and Warlpiri country. Lilly’s mother’s Dreaming is Katyerr (bush raisin). Lilly has three brothers and five sisters.

Lilly’s main Dreaming is Inkwareny Anengkerr, the Honey Ant Dreaming. The Anengkerr places for this Dreaming are located in Inkwareny and Yuelamu. Only women have access to ceremonial sites.

Lilly and Daisy Penengk are owners of the Inkwareny Anengkerr. The artist Alison Ngal Daniels is one of the guardians of this Dreaming, as well as Elsie Mpetyan from Arangki (Ten Mile).
