Alison is Anmatyerr from Yuelamu, Northern Territory Australia. She has five children and three grandchildren.  Alison lives in Yuelamu and Adelaide to be with her daughter.

Alison is a prolific painter producing striking large yellow and orange paintings. “I really love doing paintings”

Alison is following in a strong family traditional of painting. Alison paints Yalka Anengkerr (bush onion dreaming) her grandmother’s dreaming and Inkwareny (honey ant) which is my mother’s and grandfather’s dreaming.  Alison also paints Anakety (bush tomato) and Kwaty Anengkerr (water dreaming).
